What is a Conflicts Check?

Pro Se University PS is a law firm that also provides non-attorney support. As attorneys, we have represented parties in many legal matters over the years. We have an ongoing obligation to these parties to maintain the confidentiality of their legal matters and an ongoing duty of loyalty to them. Therefore, before Pro Se University PS can provide attorney support services or paralegal support services to you, we must verify that we do not already have an attorney-client relationship with the other party or a person closely aligned with the other party in your case. Once you have signed up for one of these services, we will review our current and former client databases to assure that no such conflicts exist. If our review determines that there is a conflict, you will be notified and your payment refunded immediately.
