 Webinars.
Currently we have scheduled a short series of Webinars on issues we believe are of greatest concern to families during these difficult economic times. Over the next several months, we will expand this menu of Webinars to help you work through your other family law Issues.

Once you have signed up and paid for a Webinar, Pro Se University PS will send you a confirming email with instructions and a participant code for you to join the Webinar. You will need to save this email so that on the day of your Webinar, you can enter the participant code.  Be sure to verify that your computer meets the technical requirements for you to attend the Webinar.

At the scheduled time, you will sign in, read the Disclaimer, accept the Terms and Conditions to participate, and be invited to join. The Webinar will begin with a brief introduction, then provide the information. There will be a short question-and-answer period at the end. You can email your questions at any time during the Webinar and we will answer as many of these questions that are appropriate and that time permits.

Seminars.  As with our Webinars, our current series of Seminars focuses on issues we believe are of greatest concern to families during these difficult economic times.  Once you have signed up for a Seminar, Pro Se University PS will send you a confirming email with instructions for you to attend the Seminar. You will need to save this email so that you can attend on the day of your Seminar.  Seminars are limited to the first 20 participants to sign up.

Seminars take place at an instructional facility near our location in Burien, Washington.  When you sign up, we will provide you with the facility address and driving directions.  You will need to provide identification on the day of the Seminar so that we can verify that the person who signed up is the person attending. At the scheduled time, you will read the Disclaimer, accept the Terms and Conditions to participate, and be signed in to participate in the Seminar. The Seminar will begin with a brief introduction, then provide the information. There will be a short question-and-answer period at the end. You can submit your question in writing at any time during the Seminar, and we will answer as many of these questions that are appropriate and that time permits.

Attorney Support.
When you sign up, you will receive a confirming email.  Pro Se University PS will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your appointment. We will need to perform a conflicts check to verify that we can help you, and if we cannot you will receive an immediate refund.

You will receive individualized legal advice in a private conference with an experienced family lawyer. This is called “unbundled legal services,” or “limited representation services.” Pro Se University PS attorneys can coach you in how to manage your case or how to handle a specific issue, and we can ghost-write legal documents that you sign, file and serve on the other party yourself. You will have an attorney-client relationship for the duration of your private conference, and you will be protected by the attorney-client privilege regarding the matters discussed during the conference.

Paralegal Support for Hearings & Trials. When you sign up, you will receive a confirming email. Pro Se University PS will conduct a conflicts check and contact you within 24 hours to schedule your appointment. If we cannot help you due to a conflict, you will receive an immediate refund.

You will then have the use of our offices, including a copier, fax machine, computers with internet access, office supplies, and a space to assemble your documents. Our Paralegal Support staff will help you with assembling your documents and with other secretarial services. A Paralegal is not an attorney and cannot give you legal or strategic advice about your case.

Paralegal Support for Settlement Conferences. Before you schedule a settlement conference at Pro Se University PS, you will need to confirm with your mediator and the other party (through the attorney if the other party is represented) that everyone agrees to conduct the settlement conference at our offices. Once everyone agrees to come to the Pro Se University PS office for the settlement conference, you are ready to contact us to schedule the block of time you believe will be necessary. When you sign up, you will receive a confirming email. Pro Se University PS will conduct a conflicts check and contact you within 24 hours to schedule your appointment. If we cannot help you due to a conflict, you will receive an immediate refund.

Pro Se University PS provides a separate room for each party for the entire settlement conference. You will not be in the same room with the other party without the mediator present. Each room will be equipped with a computer with internet access. You will also have the use of our copier, fax machine, office supplies, and Paralegal Support staff to help you with assembling your documents and other secretarial services. A Paralegal is not an attorney and cannot give you legal or strategic advice about your case.
