Our Services
Pro Se University is here to walk you through your family law issue. It is often a confusing process for those who find themselves in a situation where they are unable to hire an attorney. Our goal is to make this process go more smoothly for you by offering services in the areas you need. We work with people in either the Kent, Washington or the Seattle, Washington superior court systems in King County.
Workshops.
$50 per workshop
Pro Se University offers a variety of workshops tailor-made to your specific family law issue. During each workshop, you will work with Attorney Marie White to draft the documents the court needs from you to complete your family law case. Click here to see our Workshop Schedule.

Attorney Appointments.
$200 per hour
If you need individualized legal advice, you can sign up for a private conference with an experienced family lawyer, in half-hour increments. This is called “unbundled legal services,” or “limited representation services.” We can coach you in how to manage your case or how to handle a specific issue, and we can ghost-write legal documents that you sign, file and serve on the other parties yourself. You will have an attorney-client relationship for the duration of your private conference, and you will be protected by the attorney-client privilege regarding the matters discussed during the conference.
Family Law Form Bank.
$15 for your requested packet

Deadline Reminder Service.
$25 or free with paid service
If you have been issued a Case Schedule with deadlines, this case management service will remind you a week ahead of each deadline by phone or email.
Legal Messenger Service.
$15
If you need to have papers delivered to the court for filing, bring them to our office, and we will submit them for you through our legal messenger service.
Notary Services.
$10 per item
